Join us for a pizza lunch with C-PREE Visiting Fulbright Fellow Shalini Sharma to learn about her research on climate justice and urbanisation in India, and reflections on her time at Princeton. 

Shalini is joining the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER-Pune) as Associate Professor starting March 2020. She is also the oral historian/trustee of the Remember Bhopal Museum, India's first oral history based museum which is also co-curated by those affected by the 1984 Bhopal industrial disaster. She was a Commonwealth Rutherford Fellow at the University of East Anglia in 2018-19, and Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India from 2013-18. She has a PhD in development studies from SOAS, London. 

She is an interdisciplinary social scientist interested in city, culture and climate relations. She is also a contributing author to IPCC AR6, WGII on cities and settlements. 

This event is open to Princeton University students and researchers.
