I am a researcher in atmospheric science with a keen interest in understanding relationship between air quality, climate change and the resulting policy implications, focusing India.  In my projects so far, I tried to quantify the contribution of transboundary and local emissions on air pollution extremes in north India, also linking them with the synoptic monsoon variations. My current research focuses on analyzing the sustainability of energy infrastructure in the current air pollution scenario, in India.
