Bio/Description
Elise Doumergue is the 2022 Daniel M. Sachs Scholar at Princeton. Her interests focus on the impacts of climate change on conflicts, and their implications for conflict prevention and mediation.
Before coming to SPIA, Elise completed a MPhil in International Relations at the University of Oxford and worked in different think tanks such as the Middle East Institute (Washington DC), the Issam Fares Institute (Beirut) and the French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs (Paris). She is the author of published papers on geo-engineering, Arctic diplomacy, and online freedom of expression in Lebanon.
