Using molecular dynamics simulations and nano- to micro- scale analytical techniques, Emily’s research looks at mechanisms underlying multiphase fluid flow and organic carbon at mineral interfaces. Emily’s STEP fellowship research will study how small-scale agricultural lands and incremental targets can impact carbon in the atmosphere and land productivity.
