Evelyn Wong is a second-year MPA candidate at Princeton University, with a specialization in international development. She graduated with a Politics and Economics degree from Scripps College. She is originally from Malaysia, and has lived and worked across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and the USA. Prior to Princeton, she worked in management consulting with Bain & Company, and then pivoted to global health non-profit, partnering with southeast Asian governments to strengthen public sector malaria case management at Clinton Health Access Initiative. Evelyn worked this past summer as a service delivery innovation intern with The World Bank in their Health, Nutrition, and Population global practice. Her time in nonprofit ignited an interest to contribute to a more global-South-led, holistic, and inclusive approach to development, and she hopes to develop stronger policy analysis skills during her time at SPIA to pursue this path post-graduation.
