Kimberly Kreiss

Kim is currently an MPA student in the School of Public and International Affairs concentrating in economics and public policy. A native of New Jersey, Kim graduated from Rutgers University where she studied economics and minored in mathematics and English. After graduation, she began her career in economics and public policy as a research assistant in the Federal Reserve Board’s Division of Consumer and Community Affairs in Washington, D.C. before transitioning to a data scientist position. While at the Federal Reserve, she used data and research to support the Board’s regulatory responsibilities, policy development functions, and research work with a focus on low- and moderate-income communities. She is interested in how climate change intersects with financial stability, migration, and economic opportunity.
