Kirsten is a second-year MPA student from Carbondale, Colorado. She has a background in clinical medicine and is interested in the relationship between the environment and human health, particularly as it relates to air pollution, water pollution, and industrial development. Prior to attending SPIA, Kirsten earned a master's degree from OHSU in Portland and worked as a PA in family medicine and dermatology. Kirsten has also worked as a Naturalist at Walking Mountains Science Center in Vail, and has a certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
