Luo Xu is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Princeton University. His current research interests include power system resilience under climate risks, energy system resilience and energy policy in a changing climate. His work aims to bridge energy, and climate science.
He serves as an officer of the IEEE PES Energy Internet Coordinating Committee (EICC). He is a Young Editorial Board Member of Applied Energy, and a reviewer for 11 journals including IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. He was a recipient of CIGRE Thesis Award 2023, Best Research Award in IEEE PES PhD Dissertation Challenge, the IET Premium Awards in 2019 and the Best Conference Paper Award from the IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration in 2017, and the Outstanding Reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Power Systems in 2020.
