Maya is Tibetan-Indian from Delhi, India. She has an Economics background and professional experience across the private and public sectors. Prior to Princeton, she worked as a Research & Operations Manager at Precision Development, a nonprofit that provides digital agricultural extension services to smallholder farmers. Through her work on designing a climate adaptation-focused advisory program for coffee growers in South India, she developed an interest in the intersection of social protection for managing climate risk and adaptation.
