Bio/Description
Oliver’s current research and policy interests lie at the intersection of climate change, conservation, and natural resource management. At C-PREE, Oliver is working with Tim Searchinger on a variety of projects related to carbon accounting reform within global land and agriculture systems. Previously, his graduate research focused on dynamic conservation mechanisms and water resource management within California’s San Joaquin Valley.
A lifelong student of natural history, Oliver recently published his second book, Birds of Berkeley, from Heyday Press.
He holds a M.S. from the Energy & Resources Group and an MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
