Róbert is a visiting William Alexander Fleet Fellow from the Magdalen College, Oxford, where he finished his Master’s in Economic and Social History. His research focused on the expansion of profit and market oriented mentality in 19th century Hungary, alongside the causes of long term economic growth and methodological critiques to economic models of behaviour. Róbert is primarily interested in the politics of environmental policymaking, that is, finding out the best strategies that deliver the desired outcomes in tackling climate change and other environmental problems, while maintaining political support in the long run. He hopes to contribute to the C- PREE community with such a focus on the means, rather than just on the ends, of policymaking.
