Svyatoslav is a candidate for a Master in Public Affairs in Economic Policy at Princeton University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Before SPIA, he worked as a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, researching housing, population, and location amenities.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Political Science and Economics. Originally from Philadelphia, Svyatoslav focuses on urban policy and is interested in a career in city government. He is particularly interested in housing affordability, transit access, and urban economic development, and how these issues intersect with historical inequities in cities. Cities are deeply affected by a warming climate and can be catalysts of change in the global energy transition.
Svyatoslav wants to explore how cities can respond to climate change while taking addressing existing environmental injustice. In his free time, he enjoys biking, baking, and playing the accordion.
