Bio/Description

Before coming to Princeton, Tom worked for the UK Civil Service for over five years. He spent most of his time working in a variety of roles in HM Treasury, advising on budgetary and policy issues concerning the environment, housing and welfare. He has also been seconded to the UK's Representation to the EU, where he represented the UK in negotiations on climate change and environment issues whilst the UK was still a member state. His first job in the Civil Service was working on food policy in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Whilst at Princeton, he is interested in exploring further the intersection of public finance, economics and climate policy.
