Former Associate Research Scholar at C-PREE
I am an Associate Research Scholar as well as a senior Schmidt Science Fellow working with Prof. Denise Mauzerall at Princeton University. My research aims to develop industrial synergy strategies considering co-benefits/tradeoffs between environmental and economic performances. My ongoing projects include : 1) Developing synergetic infrastructure systems via material recycling options between coal power and wastewater treatment sectors, 2) Carbon mitigation and environmental co-benefits of a clean energy transition in China's industrial parks.
I earned my BS and PhD degrees of environmental science and engineering at Tsinghua University in 2014 and 2019, with a second major of computer science. My PhD work has explored the pathways of decarbonizing China’s industrial parks by managing energy infrastructure, as well as optimizing regional industrial structure by reallocating resource and pollutant quotas among sectors.
